I just can't believe it. I am in absolute awe. My head is spinning!
Why you ask?
Well, yesterday I had a meeting with the Child Study Team that manages James and Joshua's schooling. I'm going to tell you what they said about James first:
- he is ready to get out of "special education" (the label is gone!!) and is now ready for kindergarten. YES! You see, I'm so excited because both of my boys have been classified for special education and now, he's out because he FINALLY got potty trained, yeah!
-he wil be pulled out 2x a day for reading and math. That's awesome cuz there are like 7 kids in each of those classes and he will benefit from the attention. :)
Now, onto Joshua:
-This is the part that I just can't believe. I have been fighting and fighting for Joshua to get a 1:1 assistant to be with him throughout the day. Well guess what: we've got it for September!!!!!!!!
God is so incredibly faithful, guys. Everything thatI have asked the Lord for my children I have recieved. The road is (and still is) bumpy, but I am so greatful to God that He heard our prayers and has given us what we have needed.
The verse that comes to mind about this situation is this:
"Know, recognize, and understand therefore that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God, Who keeps covenant and steadfast love and mercy with those who love Him and keep His commandments, to a thousand generations," Deuteronomy 7:9
Thanks for coming on this journey with me.
Dear Jesus, thank you for being so incredibly faithful to me. Thank you for hearing all of the prayers for my boys and providing them what they need. You are God and worthy of praise. Blessings and honor and glory be to the Lord Jesus Christ, amen.
